A Pizza is a Pizza, or is it?

The humble yet ubiquitous pizza has been a staple of we humans for hundreds of years, most likely beginning with the ancient Greeks who often slathered their pita bread with herbs, oil, and cheese. Though modern Americans consume somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 billion of the delectable pies each year, it only arrived on our shores in 1905 in New York’s Little Italy neighborhood.

And though the numbers of styles and recipes for pizzas can large and varied, we at Chauncey Studios believe that each and every one deserves a bit of special attention–after which, we totally devour it. Wouldn’t you? Enjoy!
